Siberian Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes- The Difference

07/01/2012 11:43

Hi Jim,

Here is a Siberian Husky and an Alaskan Malamute. They are both the same age- 12 months old and one has brown eyes and one has blue.  One is bigger and one is smaller.  The husky is smaller and has blue eyes.  The Malamute has brown eyes, and he is bigger than the husky.  The Siberian Husky is from the Asian Continent, and the Alaskan Malamute is from Alaska.

I hope this answered all of your questions.  Please ask more questions if you need more information!

From,

Taylor :)

Tadpoles are born in the water.  The Moms leave when they are about to hatch.  When the tadpoles are ready to hatch, they dig out. They are now free.   Now you now about tadpoles.

PS: They are also known as Pollywogs.

This is how they grow:

The Difference Between an Alligator and A Crocodile

Jim had a really good question that was asked long ago:

What is the difference between an alligator and a crocodile?

The side views give us a good picture of what the differences are.  As you can see, the alligator has a smoother snout than the crocodile.  Crocodiles are found all over the world, and alligators are only found in the southeast of the United States and China.  You can always see a crocodile's lower teeth, but you can't always see an alligator's teeth; just when it opens it's mouth.  An alligator is shy of people, but, look out- a crocodile might eat you!

I hope I answered your question Jim.

This is Mort from Madagascar!  He is a lemur, and he's ADORABLE, and sweet, and very helpful and kind.  He likes feet, he always hugs King Julian's feet.  King doesn't like that very much, so he gets kicked off.  King Julian says, "MORT DO NOT touch the Royal Feet!"

This Mort is wild! Find him in Madagascar.
